Unlikely Win Condition-Cultivator of Blades
Well the hard job is done...coming up with an awesome name for the deck. From hence forth, this deck shall be known as 'Blade Runner'.
The first run, I thought I'd attempt to build it completely in blue and green. The justification was that green would allow us to ramp quickly into Cultivator of Blades (COB) and blue would protect our COB once it was on the field.
This is what I came up with:
Starting off with Narnam Renegade, we have an early reason for your opponent to not attack or to expend some sort of removal. Naga Vitalist adds our ramp (Resilient Khenra was a close second to this, it added some counters to the 1 and 2 drops which in turn enabled Rhonas the Indomitable to attack earlier). Rishkar Peema Renegade ramps us as well. Rashmi gives us card draw as well as the possibility of casting something without paying. Verdurous Gearhulk is a counter vomiter. Once COB is on the field, you can drop your gearhulk and plus up the attack.
This deck build is rudimentary as it is, it has some ways to go before we can call it worthy of the name "Blade Runner".
The next build will incorporate red...and probably Samut the Tested...because why not.
