That Was Random (Modern Deck)-You MIGHT win!
Have you ever gotten tired of having a plan? Have you ever wondered just how random winning can be? For those of you who like to throw caution to the wind, I present my latest creation in modern...
That Was Random
This deck uses almost all cards that utilize a random function in their mechanics. Black Cat will force your opponent to discard a card at random upon its death. Sanity Gnawers will force a discard upon its entry into the battlefield. Noggle Ransacker will make you and your opponent draw two cards then discard one at random. Cragganwick Cremator will force you to discard a card and deal damage to target opponent equal to it's power. When Rakdos Ringleader does damage to a player he or she is forced to discard a random card. Singe-Mind Ogre forces your opponent to reveal a random card and it deals damage to that player equal to that card's converted mana cost. And to top it all off, Tibalt, the Fiend-Blooded lets you draw a card and discard one at random. Tibalt's higher abilities are pretty formidable, but getting there requires you to endure multiple random discards.
But don't worry about the discard. To play this deck you need nerves of steel anyway. Included in the deck is Ever After which will allow you to bring back a couple of creatures from your graveyard to inflict more random triggers.
The sideboard houses some great additions that can help you deal with some specific threats, but feel free to play with it and adapt it to what you need.
Let me know what you think.
