 Here's the plan...to build an optimization model that can configure the highest probability of minimizing your own life loss, maximizing damage to your opponents and minimizing the number of turns needed to achieve a win.  I'm going to start with a 4th degree non-parametric model that layers a Markov Chain to account for game state.

Either way, I'm good. 


After starting my sole prerelease at Villainous Lair, located in sunny San Diego (www.villainouslair.com), I found that I had a strong desire to play Regal Caracal:








I had no other cats; I had no synergy; I had nothing that related to this creature...but the desire to play the cat was there.  Why am I possessed by this card? 


I need to get this out of my system.  Cat Deck....you are my next project.  Stand by for the cats.

Taking a look at the new mechanic ASCEND, which offers you the 'City's Blessing' if you control 10 or more permanents. Here are the white cards that utilize the ASCEND mechanic: Of these, Radiant Destiny is the most promising. Radiant Destiny becomes an Always Watching, which was a great pairing with the exert mechanic (or any creature card really). It has been a dream of mine to create a deck so overreaching...so incomprehensibly irresponsibly built...that it mocks sensibility and offends even the least practical MTG player.  And it is a dream of mine that the deck feature horses...and not just any horses...but horses of every color available. MTG Content Creator Awards and Ethics

I would like to first sincerely apologize for advertising a nominee who was fired by Star City Games for allegedly sexually harassing women.  My ignorance on the subject was quickly identified, but it was too late to take back any of the additional pain that I caused or could have caused by  irresponsibly throwing out  that name.  To the alleged victims of those acts, please accept my humble apology. This is the second year of this award program, and while I wish that I did not have to learn lessons this way, this event did bring to light a missing piece of this program.  My enthusiasm for getting content creators' names into the public cannot be overshadowed by my responsibility to vet every nominee prior to releasing those names.  Researching individuals by myself for violations of the Wizards of the Coast Code of Conduct is difficult.  And vetting these individuals publicly is not an option due to the possible damage to the integrity of the awards...
